“Peace, be still” isn’t just a command to the storm outside—it’s an invitation to recognize the stillness within.
A newborn reflects this perfectly: pure presence, untouched by concepts of identity.
Over time, we overlay this stillness with learned patterns, roles, and thoughts, forgetting that peace is our natural state.
The thinking mind is useful, but it’s not the core of who we are. Beneath it is awareness—unchanging, silent, and whole.

Peace, Be Still - A Poem
Peace, be still—
not a whisper to the storm,
but a call to the heart
that has forgotten its home.
Before the names,
before the stories we wear,
there was silence—
soft, infinite awareness.
Look at the newborn,
cradled in light,
no thought to divide,
no shadow of fight.
We learn and we layer,
we chase and we strive,
yet beneath all the motion,
stillness is alive.
The mind is a ripple,
a fleeting disguise.
beneath it, the ocean—
unchanging, wise.
Peace, be still—
not something to seek,
but the truth of your being,
the soul’s gentle reminder.
